Trying other things to increase

18 December 2006

I just started on fenugreek (again). I took it the first few weeks and didn’t see anything but I was making so little then (5 oz or so) that it might have been hard to see an increase. I think after the holidays I’m going to cut out sugar and see if that helps, since I have the PCOS and that messes with insulin (though I’m still on Metformin for it).

Still pumping all the time. But it does get easier with time, just having a daily routine. When I stop pumping frequently, trying to increase, I think it will be easier. Just six times would be good, and I don’t mind doing one in the middle of the night when she awakens.

Everyone talks about oatmeal–I suppose I should try the oatmeal too but I can’t imagine it without lots of butter and brown sugar and that seems like it would counteract the benefits, given my sugar issues. I guess I could eat it with Splenda though.
